Since 25 years successful expert for steel

Ever since our founding in 1993, HSM has become more and more specialized in special steels. HSM supports the supply chain processes trough cutomised carefree solutions. In addition to semi-finished products in every form and dimension, we offer special services, such as the production of drawings, special processing, individual storage options or logistics organization. "Carefree Solutions" for the industry worldwide.

Milestones of the last 25 years

• 1993 - Founding of HSM Stahl- und Metallhandel GmbH based in Roth (Bavaria, Germany)
• 1999 - Relocation to own company premises in Georgensgmünd
• 1999 - Establishing the first apprenticeship
• 2004 - Successful implementation of a certified quality management
• 2008 - Extension of the company building
• 2011 - Establishing the department for order Management and logistics
• 2012 - Implementation of the "paperless office"
• 2013 - HSM celebrates 20th anniversary
• 2013/2014 - Further extension of the Company building
• 2014 - Certification according to KTA 1401
• 2015 - HSM® is registered as a trademark
• 2015 - Implementation of digital invoice receipt and invoice delivery
• 2016 - Jörg Hofmann becomes CEO and expands the management
• 2017 - TÜV certification according to EN 9120:2010 (Aerospace)
• 2018 - 25 years HSM - 25 years family-owned company 

Since its foundation until today HSM® has become more and more expert for very special steel grades.
