Material tests
Acceptances and approvals concerning your purchase order
Regardless of application or sector, security is one of the most important factors. Usually our customers need test certificates according to EN 10204:
- Declaration of compliance
- Test report 2.2
- Inspection certificate 3.1
- Inspection certificate 3.2
However, if required by your quality management we can also offer you additional acceptances and approvals:
- TÜV
- KTA 1401
- NORSOK
- Lloyd’s register
- DVN GL SE (previously “Germanischer Lyod” or “Det Norske Veritas”)
- BV (Bureau Veritas)
- RINA
- And others
Ask your contact person for the required certifications.
Various material tests
Nondestructive material test:
A human eye can’t see everything. However, for the use of some materials it is mandatory to “have a close look”. The tiniest defect like a defective weld, cracks, inclusions or many others can be detected before use without destroying the material. Therefore, any problems while using material can be detected ahead of use and be avoided:
- Digital radiography
- Dye penetrant inspection
- Gammagraphy
- Magnetic particle testing
- X-ray inspection
- Ultrasonic testing
- Visual testing
- PMI (positive material inspection)
- Cold-water pressure test
- Mobile hardness testing
- Thermography
- Eddy current test
- Customer specific tests
Destructive material tests:
Test results of material testing which destroy material during special tests are even more specific and more detailed:
- Chemical analysis
- Hardness test
- Impact test
- Corrosion testing
- Metallography
- Technological tests
- Tension test / warm tension test
- Customer specific tests
