Our goal – a climate-neutral company

We live in a time in which climate change is an important issue for humanity. It is therefore essential that companies take responsibility and take active measures. We have set ourselves the goal of becoming climate-neutral by 2025. A decisive and supportive measure on this path is the introduction of a company climate manager. But how do you get started? How can we develop a practical strategy to achieve our goal?

Further training as a climate manager

Our Head of Quality Management, Mr. Schubert, will take on this role at HSM^® and is already well prepared for it thanks to further training as a company climate manager (IHK). The very practice-oriented training covered topics such as the basics of climate change, greenhouse gas balancing, climate strategies, measures, management systems and the procurement and financing of environmental projects over a period of 3 months. This was carried out by the IHK Mittelfranken several times a week.

At the end of the training, the knowledge gained was passed with flying colors in a final examination. Congratulations again at this point, Christoph Schubert.

The company climate manager will play an important role in our company and support us in our efforts to reduce our ecological footprint. The role of climate manager requires a great deal of knowledge in order to understand and implement the in-depth knowledge of climate change.
