EN AW-6082 is one of the most widely used age-hardenable wrought aluminum alloys. The material consists of silicon as the main component and additions of magnesium, manganese, iron, chromium, zinc, titanium and copper. Depending on the application profile, medium to high strengths can be achieved with this alloy.

EN AW-6082 has very high corrosion resistance, excellent weldability and is suitable for machining.
This age-hardenable alloy is characterized by good cold formability and polishability, and also has medium strength values.
