The material 1.4507 is a duplex steel with excellent corrosion resistance and very good chemical resistance. Due to its excellent acid resistance, this grade is ideal for use in the offshore industry and for the construction of equipment for processing sulfuric, phosphoric, nitric, acetic, and formic acids.
